View USDC USD Peg Chart on Kraken on TradingView ↗Does this USDC chart show the dollar peg?
The chart displays the USDC/USD spot price on Kraken through TradingView. Compare that market price with the $1 reference value to inspect trading above or below the dollar peg. It is a single-venue view, not a global USDC price or a chain-specific pool price.
Read it.
Don’t mythologize it.
A narrow price scale can make a tiny deviation look dramatic. Read the numeric axis and inspect the decimals. A price of $0.9990 is $0.0010 below one dollar: a deviation of -0.10%, or -10 basis points. The calculator below lets you check that arithmetic using a number you enter.
Changing the time window changes which observations you see; it does not prove the maximum deviation across every market. The closing line and a candle’s high/low also describe different parts of an interval. Check the provider timestamp and view before describing an extreme.
For a manually entered quote of $1.0005 per USDC, the difference from one dollar is +0.05%, equivalent to +5 basis points. The example and calculator are educational inputs, separate from the live chart.
Trading slightly below $1 on one venue does not by itself establish issuer insolvency, redeemability for a particular holder or a global depeg. This chart does not measure circulating supply, USDC reserves, USDC on Base or any executable swap quote.
How far
from a dollar?
This calculator uses your input. It does not read the live chart.
Example input starts at $0.9990. Replace it with the quote and time you mean to examine.
(price ÷ 1 USD − 1) × 10,000 = bpsLess guessing.
Better questions.
Is this the USDC price on Ethereum or Base?
No. The selected source is Kraken’s USDC/USD spot market. It is not a DEX pool or a token deployment on a named blockchain.
How do I convert the price difference into basis points?
For a $1 reference, subtract one from the dollar price and multiply by 10,000. A quote of 0.9990 gives -10 basis points. The quote must come from the market and time you mean to describe.
How fresh are the values, and can I export them?
TradingView supplies the feed and its observation timestamps. The crypto chart updates automatically while connected; check the widget’s status before treating a value as current. The page does not maintain a separate copy of live quotes or offer a market-data CSV export. If the source cannot load, use the direct source link.
