The default heatmap colors TradingView’s crypto-coin universe by 24-hour price change and sizes tiles by market capitalization. A large tile is a large constituent by market cap; it is not necessarily the biggest price mover. Switch to equal-sized tiles to separate those two visual signals.
PRICE MOVEMENT IS NOT INTERNET POPULARITY
This page does not rank social trends, search demand or news attention. A red market-cap-weighted heatmap also does not mean every constituent fell. Use the data table and its time-window labels to inspect individual assets.

Market data questions
Does a green heatmap mean the whole market is up?
Not necessarily. The map has a selected universe, time window and size metric. A few large green constituents can dominate its area while smaller assets fall. Use equal tiles or the data table for a different view.
Is this a list of coins I should buy?
No. It is a display of observed market data. A large move, large market cap or particular color does not establish suitability, future return or an executable exchange price.
